I couldn't count the times we have been here.

We fell in love with this place the moment we arrived. Located at the heights of Davao de Oro, we were delighted by the serene place and the good food, also.

The last time I've been here was in the year 2021. Their entrance fee was P100 and it is consumable when you buy from their restaurant.

If you like a place to chill away from the city, this is your go to place.

Their restaurant have variety of food and drinks from meals to pica-pica or some light snacks. Depending on the mood you're in.

If you like the delight of tree breeze and coffee, this place is for you. Located at Magtuod, Davao City, this coffee shop is something to look out for.

We made a reservation through their instagram page, @woodandcoffeeph

What's even better is we can bring our beloved pet inside the coffee shop. Cheers to pet-friendly cafes!

The place is very soulful. At best, their food and coffee are certainly luscious. Their pasta, sandwich and pastries are certainly the perfect fit for your coffee experience.

After dining, we got to enjoy the display of arts of the famous Gil Bumanlag.

Kawa Kawa sa Awog

The famous natural pool 'Kawa-kawa' is at Barangay San Jose, Bislig City.

 

This magnificent pool is not man-made. This is made by mother nature long before we were born.

We arrived around lunch time. People from different places came to visit this spectacular falls. Although it's not the usual falls that we see. 

What amazes me is the continuous flow of water coming from behind those trees. The source of flow cannot be seen from where we were standing.

My first balayage!

Hello! Now I'm up for a beauty blog. I'm the kind of person who only gets haircut or hair treatment once or twice a year. Hahaha. Aside from economical reasons, I just didn't feel the need to. My hair is something that ''it is what it is".

Hahaha. Hair treatment is nothing new to me. I used to have highlights or rebond for my curly hair. But! I decided to embrace something new. I tried the balayage treartment.

Surprisingly, it took a gruesome 6 hours for the process! The last time I seated that long in a salon chair was when I was getting my thick curly hair straightened.

The hot oil treatment is a must if you plan on getting your hair colored.

So I went from this

It was surreal! My first balayage and it never failed!

My hairdresser was Madam Rico [Rico Castillo]. A professional hairdresser and a talented one! You truly get your money's worth.

Mt. Magdiwata Eco Farm and Resort

My hometown province is Agusan del Sur and I am proud to say that this is one of the most spectacular places in the province. We went last June 2021.

Located in San Francisco Agusan del Sur, this resort is a hidden gem. The challenge for us was probably the rough road heading to the resort. The big cars or the trucks and motorcycles could probably pass through. But unfortunately for sedan or hatchbacks, it shall be parked in the available areas near the highway and hike all the way to the resort.

From the national highway, we enjoyed hiking this road for a kilometer or two before reaching the resort.

Our "hike" was fun. The scenery while walking was already a bonus. 

You'll get to appreciate  the life in a province. 

We arrived after 20 minutes hike.

They have "duyans" to rest while enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Their cafe. They serve meals, pica-pica, fresh shakes. Honestly, I was expecting an expensive cost for food but I was wrong! Aside from the very affordable meals, it was also delicious.

You could also bring your baon without paying corkage ;)

This is their "pool" which is filled with fresh water from mountain spring. There are two connecting pools. I presume one is for kids (since it is very shallow) and the other one is for adults.

If you are looking for a refreshing resort with a beautiful view in touch of nature, Mt. Magdiwata Eco farm and Resort is the place!

Here's a peak of our homemade resort! Located beside our house HAHAHA.

No need to pay for large amount of water bill. This is filled with rain water. you guys!

It is actually more of a bath tub but the "mechanical water falls" made such a big difference.

Comeback is real!

 Hello! It feels great to be back to old habits! It's been a long time since I blogged! 

There is a lot of things that have happened these past few years. I am nearing the finish line in law school, I have the love of my life, I'm a legit furmom, I got my hair short plus it got highlights, I gained 10 friggin kilos and so much more! I wished I shared more often. But! Moving forward! Cannot wait to share the recent events with you. <3

Eating alone is actually nice

After I went to the church, I decided to do something I have never ever done in my whole life... trying alone a restaurant I haven't been before!!! 

Taishozhan Japanese Restaurant Davao

The place is really nice. I've never been to Japan but it the vibes feels like I was actually in another country. Like the ones we've seen on movies! :) It's very cozy and homely!

I've tried their ramen and ahh! It was very delish! It was stuffed and very meaty. Your heart will be full plus you can have as much as you want at their reasonable price!
