Rizal Film PH3B'13

Last semester, one of the things that has been keeping us or probably everybody in my batch busy is our project in Rizal. We were asked to make a film about our national hero. We were given enough time to prepare for our movie and my classmates have been pretty great making our project possible! I was given the role of Leonor Rivera.

She's one of Jose Rizal's love interest. They have been together for like 8-11 years, Idk there were lot of versions of their romance. What they had was a long distance relationship. But they didn't last forever. She married an englishman which was actually the choice of her mom who wasn't much of a fan of Jose-Leonor. She agreed upon her conditions such as she will stop playing piano, etc. Then they broke up.She had her family and died giving birth to her 2nd child. Well, that's probably all I know.

Well I only had a scene or two as Leonor Rivera. The rest of the film, I was an extra like a member of the Katipunan or a priest. This is me as priest.

Anyway, the best part about this project is not because of the score that we got 47/50 Hooray! :) But because of the memories along the way during the tapings and everything. I ,for one, has always been present - well not really always but most of the time XD - and I could really see the efforts my classmates had shed on this film. I love my classmates very very much. They have been amazing for three years now <3
